I'm just your everyday millennial that hit the brick wall of burnout like the rest of us.  After doing a crap ton of inner work, I came to the painful realization that I had a subconscious addiction to stress.  Stress WAS my dopamine!  Now, after learning everything I could about the brain/mind/body science of burnout, I've now made it my mission to help others in this same boat heal faster than I did, by understanding how to recover from burnout without quitting your job.

To be honest, I struggle with whether to call myself a mindset coach, a burnout coach, some combination thereof, or just Peter.  

Sure, I'm certified in stuff like NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) for mindset coaches, and I have a background with lots of neuroscience research...but at my core, I'm a teacher. 

I started my career as an elementary teacher.  After burning out from that, I went on to work in education technology at companies from Amazon to small start-ups.

In 2022 I decided that I wanted to take a break from full-time work to give myself a much-needed RESET and figure out what I wanted to do with the rest of my life!  It was in that 2-year break from the hustle and grind, that I ended up going through a pretty massive inner-healing journey, focused on regulating my fried nervous system and reprogramming the subconscious beliefs that kept me stuck living a life addicted to stress.

After months of fighting myself, I finally decided to put ME first!  Lots of self-care and self-compassion that was missing from the picture all those years became my priority.

Now, I have a simple mission...to make a difference in the lives of other millennials that are going through the same struggle that I did (and still do).  I'm still a teacher at heart, but now I'm just teaching others about the power that you hold to create a better future for yourself!
